W dniu 8.02.2018 r. w samo południe na dzierżoniowskim Rynku po raz pierwszy wszyscy tegoroczni Maturzyści ze szkół powiatu dzierżoniowskiego oficjalnie zatańczyli staropolskiego poloneza. Do tańca zaproszeni zostali przedstawiciele władz samorządowych powiatu dzierżoniowskiego, którzy z dużym entuzjazmem odpowiedzieli na zaproszenie. W tańcu wzięło udział ponad 400 osób. Mamy nadzieję, że inicjatywa ta wpisze się na stałe w tradycję szkół oraz miasta.
